What Makes A Malaysian A Malaysian

1. You can name all the players from the the English Premier League, but ask you to name one football player from Malaysia , one name also cannot come out.

2. When StreamyX come, you complain StreamyX too slow. When Maxis Broadband come, you complain Maxis Broadband always disconnects. When WiMax come, you complain Wimax too expensive. In the end, you say StreamyX still the best lah.

3. When toll price increase, you complain. When petrol price increase, you complain. When you go Starbucks buy RM10 coffee, NO COMPLAINTS.

4. When you cannot find parking in a shopping mall and have to walk very far, you complain. When you go inside the shopping mall and there's SALE , run from one end of
1Utama to the other also NO COMPLAINTS.

5. You are always late. And the excuse you give when you're late is always either: (a) traffic jam (b) no transport or (c) cannot find parking.

6. You have a parent who force you to take science stream in high school, study engineering in Uni, then when you graduate, they ask you to forget everything you learnt in Uni and do commerce.

7. You know someone who can specially develop an angmoh accent when speaking to a American / British / Australian.

8. You complain against the government in kopitiam, you talk loud loud. Leave anonymous comments on blogs, you also talk loud loud. Attend ceremah by DAP, you shout loud loud. Then when Opposition organise a protest and ask you to go, you dun wan. Scared later kena tangkap by ISA.

9. Every year on the 30th April, you are one of the people below queueing up last minute to submit your tax return at the IRB.

10. When you pay RM10 for something that costs RM1, you blame the Chinese.

11. When a government service is too slow, you blame the Malays.

12. When a building is not good and collapsed, you blame the Indians.

13. When a Chinese student won a scholarship, you say 'Wah! Very clever hor?' When a Malay student won a scholarship, you say 'Aiya! Of course lah! He Malay mah!'

14. When an angmoh stranger kiss you on the cheek to say hello, you very happy. When a Malaysian guy kiss you on the cheek to say hello, you slap him.

Shop till drop!

normally i am the one who can shop till nobody can follow.. but these 2 days, i am the one who shout for STOP!

last saturday, me and darling went to genting to watch astro beauty pagaent contest.
then we came back on sunday morning.
immediate back from genting, we followed his family went shopping at midvalley.
after 2 hours, his sister felt that midvalley dun hv the stuff she wanna buy.
then we change location to berjaya times square.
we shopped there for about 5 hours.
my legs were so pain as i didnt expect to shop for so long time, and were wearing 5 inches high-heel!
about 6pm, i already cannot take the pain and straight away bought a pair of sandal.
didnt bother how ugly is the match of my clothes and the sandal, i feel so comfortable and relax!
today, monday, deepavali holiday, we come out for shopping again..
that is why, i am now updating my blog at sunway pyramid!

Missing Xiao Guai....

Xiao Guai was back to Jawi staying with parents since my last trip back to Jawi on early October.
I miss her so much.
I decided send her back coz i predicted will be very busy this month, so dun want left her alone at home...

This few days got a bit free time, suddenly miss her so much.

Mum told me she is now sleeping with them (Dad & Mum). at 1st nite she seems like not used to it and walk on the bed whole nite.
But now already used to it, know it is the place for her to sleep. Once go on the bed, sleep straigh away!! Haha~
she really a cute daughther...

Nick's Birthday

Nick's birthday on 11th October 2008.

He was busy still on his birthday.

so i decided to give him a surprise by sending present to his work place, at KLCC Convention centre.

I bought a big RED toys for him, as he complaint the toy in his car already dirty. And normally he needs a toy as pillow when overnite set-up or working. so he can take a nap in car.

Besides, i also bought him a GUCCI wallet.

Hope he likes his birthday present~

9th Month Prayer & Parade

Every year Lunar 9th Month, we will take vegetarian for the first 9days as our sincere prayer for 9 Kings God.

This year me & nick take a trip to go back hometown, Penang to join the parade. As Penang is much more merrier than KL.

The parade we join almost walk across the whole Bukit Mertajam, took us about 2 hours +.
Besides public, there are festooned vehicle & devotees join the parade as well.

I noticed also a lot of Indian people join us.
I am so glad that to be borned in Malaysia, with multi-cultural & multi-races.
We will sometimes join Indian prayer, and Indian people will join us when we have celebration.
BUT, why not MALAY??

hmmm.... give everyone some space to do your own judgement & thinking!

Recently i am quite busy for working. So no time to upload my latest news.

Nice Movie: 溏心风暴之家好月圆

Recently there is a very nice movie broadcasting in ASTRO.

And of coz, wherever their is nice movie, pirated & online media will "follow the trend", and we can watch that movie eventhough no ASTRO at house.

I am still in the mid of watching it, as quite busy for events lately.

One of my fren told me, he is very addicted to that movie, until feel like crazy that extend!!!

Everyday must watch the movie, eventhough shower & "pang sai"!!!

then i asked him: how you watch when u shower??

He said: i take shower at master room attached bathroom, then put the laptop on the bed, shower without closing the door!!!

When i want "pang sai", then i bring my laptop together, put on top of dusbin in the toilet!!!

Recently got lot of frens are crazy in Face Book!!
after few times of persuade, i got my own account in face book but dunno how to use it...

According to them, you can own your ferrari car, becum millionaire, etc in your own character.
but till now, i still havent manage to "enjoy" in it.

Think this Face Book will kill plenty of my time, and i will addicted with it if started "enjoy"....
so better not to touch!

Trip to Melaka

Last Sunday (Merdeka Day), Nick, Loon & me went Melaka for short holiday..

We stayed at sister's house while she was outstation to Kuantan with Bro Goh.

又假期了。。。

不知不觉又是星期五。
虽然有时很想假期，但这个星期又觉得假期来得太快了！
好像很多事情都没办好。
是时候反省一下了，很多时候办公时间都没专心，当然事情办不好啦！
黄美晶，打拼咯！！！

好了，振作啦！
虽说假期，但本小姐明天有event, 所以还是要做工的啦！
说起event,又精神奕奕啦！

我长大了，但爸爸妈妈老了。。。

最近大哥刚买新家，所以一连串的工作如装修，粉刷， 买家私等等都忙得如火如荼。
由于爸妈和哥哥一起同住，所以多多少少爸妈都会帮忙哥哥。

前几天老师大姐因学校假期，所以也回去帮忙大哥粉刷墙壁。过后她打了通电话给我，她说爸爸真的老了。。。

以前，爸爸是当炸石场的技工，所以时不时会攀高攀低的，对他来说，这没什么困难。
几年前，爸爸因达退休年龄， 再加上身体日益衰退，所以就退休了。。

大姐说，爸爸在粉刷墙壁的过程，都没爬木梯，他再也不敢爬高了。。
我听了之后，一度哽咽, 爸爸真的老了。。。只是我们都没发觉。

虽然爸妈在我们面前都是一对开心果，但我这才明白原来他们已不再如以前般健壮。他们更需要我们的照顾！！

现在我的心情，真的好想与他们同住，孝顺他们，逗他们开心，带他们去想去的地方，吃想吃的食物，和爸妈打麻将，和妈妈谈心事，和爸爸遛狗，带他们去上海。。。
但很多事都不能在同一时间做到。
所以现在唯一能做的是，常打电话和他们聊天，说服他们来吉隆玻与我同住！

我爱爸爸妈妈！希望你们也要珍惜身边的爸爸妈妈。。。

小时候的美好回忆。。

小时候的我，生长在不太富裕的家庭，甚至可说是生活过的蛮艰难的。尤其是当哥哥姐姐和我都在求学。

虽然如此，当我们考取好成绩时，爸妈一定不忘了奖赏我们，哪怕只是一句赞美的话，我们也会很开心。

当然，身为老幺的我，常常都会有特别优待。

这张椅子，是我一年级的时候，考到数学，华语，和道德教育一百分，爸妈买来奖励我的。

虽然对其他小朋友而言，它并不是很贵重的礼物，甚至是平常逛街爸妈都会买的东西；但对我而言，它是很难得的礼物！

它常搁在家，只是平时都没被我注意。

多年以后，再望望她，想想它，心里头别有一番滋味！

Recent Trip to Hometown

Last saturday, i went back hotown with my sis, bro-in-law & xiao guai.


Although it's a rush trip(went home saturday nite, came back kl on tuesday morning), but i enjoyed so much every moment with my family..

We are eating dim sum...

Insurance

Every July, August, October & November, will be a "scary" month coz every month also have to pay insurance...

First, have to come out extra RM1k --2k for the particular month. Of coz, have to cut down my shopping habits and so on.

second, the payment for an insurance company very "ma fan".

This month (August), is the turn to pay insurance premium for GR**T EAST**N.
Since few years back, the insurance agent already "take off" his responsibility to remind us, as his customer to pay premium. May be becoz their commission only paid them first 5 years, so the 6th year onwards, he is NOT PAID to remind me.

In my opinion, although he got no commission for following years, but we still his customer. and most important, we are their potential customer for other insurance. (That's why he cant get my business after 1st premium, all sales go to ING!!! :p)

Talking bout this agent, his is one of the leader in Perak. But the service is S**K!

Today, i am preparing payment for GR**T EAST**N insurance.
Go to their website, www.life**great.com.my, cannot be entered.
Call to their customer service, nobody answered.
Email to them, wecare@Life**Great.com.my, bounced back!!!
What happened??

天色怪怪的。。。 心情怪怪的。。。。

最近天色怪怪的， 所以心情也跟着怪怪的。。。。

但说到底，还不是自己想偷懒不做工！哈哈。。。

好想回家赖床噢！

虽然好久都没牵涉在广告行业，但对“做广告”还是热情款款！今天看到一张布条，觉得还有改进的地方，所以就在这和大家分享了。。。
