Yes, I think they are. What do I get for paying toll everyday? Still caught in the traffic jam.

Now I have to pay an extra RM50 for each credit card. For what?

Extra GST (goods and services tax). Again, how does that benefit me?

Look at the long list:

I have to pay for security guards because the police are hopeless.
I have to install filters because the water supply is dirty.
I have to watch satellite tv because the government broadcasts crap.

Many kids have to go for tuition or to private schools because the government schools are bad.
We have to pay IPPs (independent power providers) because the government cannot provide consistent electricity.

We have to pay Indah Water to clean up the sewers.
We have to pay tax on foreign cars because Mahathir wants to keep his dying local car industry alive. ON top of it APs cost bcoz of his cronies.
Most have to drive because the government cannot provide good public transport.

We have to pay to sustain the government's affirmative action policies.
We have to pay for private health care because the public hospitals are crowded .


All in all, we have to pay a PREMIUM to stay in this country!

Finally......

Finally, I got my I phone on 13 January 2010 after 6 weeks waiting...
Just like what I promise before, will upload more pics and more words here after getting I phone which much more convenient to blog!
This phone is quite user friendly and fill of fun of it's feature.
I am still in the midst of exploring. Hopefully will get more features and fun games soon!
Currently the most frequents feature using is facebook, dictionary, camera, phone and text(of coz!).
Other than that nothing much coz I am not very good in games.
Hopefully I will find it's easy way to blog and surfing....
Till then, enjoy life!

I just bought an I-phone 3Gs, but yet to receive as it is sell like hot cake!

We went back Penang during Merdeka.

Ate a lot of nice food and found 1 nice Char Koay Teow!!

Located at Valdor Lorong 10, together with Ah Yao Laksa.

Within that 4 days, we ate twice of Laksa, and twice of that Char Koay teow...

Carrefour selling Live Fish

That day went to Carrefour shopping, found this live fish selling on shelf.

I feel a bit pity on those fish as they only able to live in a small plastic jar... Some of them even feel difficult on turning around.

Even dead fish also nobody take care.

I know is only a Fish, but fish also is a life... rite?

Fish, is not suppose swim with free and unrestrainable??

KFC Trick

Me & colleague went KFC for lunch.

Then my colleague wanna try out the new product, which have big banner outside. Showing BIG PRAWN in GIANT SHRIMP STIX.

Wthout considering, he ordered one set.

When the cashier pass him the plate, we don't know whether is she kidding with us, or she took the wrong things.....

Pork, i want pork!

Last Sunday went to KL for Brunch.
This Kopitiam is quite unique and everything sell like hot cake!
We waited at outside for more than 20 min only got place to sit.
A normal Kopitiam, selling nice chicken chop, pork chop, Hai Nam Mee, Hokkien Fried mee, Pork slice, home-made cake. And everything seems like so nice.

Sister came my house last week, brought a cempedak from her house.
After she went home, i goreng the cempedak myself.
First time doing it, taste not bad. :p

I was doing event for JCI (Junior Chamber International) for thier CYEA (Creative Young Entrepreneur Awards) on 1st August 2009 at Sunway Resort & Spa.

CSL was one of the winner for that particular award. Being a sponsor for that event, they sponsored some handsets, therefore i got a very special price for purchasing a handset from CSL.

我最近红的很呢！常常被人抄袭。。。
不久前被人抄了Event Ideas, 现在连MSN title 也被抄！
我真的开始欣赏我自己，不知可以卖idea为生吗？？ 哈哈！

Cheap price with Cheap Look VS Reasonable price with Class Look! :p

I lost a deal last 2 months because of pricing.

In fact i was given my best rate, and almost "selling big bao" to that company!

I wonder why the other company who get the deal can offer at so low price. so i make a visit to that event.

Before visiting to that event, i still feel guilty and unhappy, as i tot people out there are so capable, can offer good price to my client and therefore made me lost the deal.

After visiting the event, i feel so relax and "guilty-free"!

Know what?? The production is so low quality and ugly.

That event is involve minister, datuk, datin & some overseas candidates, we supposingly to give them better quality production.

Therefore, i am sure that after that event the client dare not take those "low cost" production anymore!

I curi-curi snap a pictures of a photo board at foyer area. :p

Normally we will do side cover with wood panel (c/w black paint) and back covered with black cloth. So people wont see the structure at the back. Especially it is put at the center of foyer, people are mingle around and everybody can see at back view.

This production house they just simply put 2 tongs of sand with dirty barrel for back support. and never covered it with anything!

I will accept it if it is just a kindergarten sport days, or provided for me is free...

Else, no way!

It is quite sometime i never step into my blogger room.
Busy for events, busy for strategic planning, busy for FB :p
The economy is a bit recover now, while the A H1N1 is become worst!
It is thoroughly affected our event line, as well tourism related company.
A lot of my frens were complaining can't survive without sales...
Ya, it's quite a hard time for us to face, but we have to!
I believe with our passion and spirit towards our job, there is nothing impossible!

现在已进入夜晚时分，发现我忧心的，关心的，想起的，竟然是赵明福的离开。。。

今天已迈入了第十天。

大马子民今天关心的，不是牵系全世界人民的A H1N1已经是破一千大关；

蔡细历是不是在策谋“倒翁”；

翁诗杰是不是真的面对恶势力阻止公开巴生自由贸易区报告；

麦克杰逊的财产分给谁；

我们最关心的是：赵明福是怎样死的？

7月十六日早上 恐怖的马来西亚。。。（这是我在面子书的留言）

赵明福昨晚被反贪污局以证人身份带走问话， 今天就毫无缘故的跌死在反贪污局大厦！

为什么？自杀？谋杀？失足？

十天了，我们都还不知道。

7月十七日早上

我看着现今大马报道赵明福的新闻，在办公室忍不住掉下眼泪。

(My Facebook: 我哭了，为赵明福而哭。。。 :'( 请大家为他祈祷。尽早找到害他的凶手。。。)

一个大好青年，原本今天注册结婚，几个月后摆喜酒，再几个月后当爸爸，但今天他却出现在各大报章的头版，有一点良心的人都会触动心头，为他不平，为他愤怒，甚至为他流泪。

但却有些人，为了自己或部门的议程，一口咬定是自杀或失足，完全排除谋杀的可能性！(MyFacebook on 17 July 2009：

7月十八日晚上

看到八度空间新闻播放今早赵明福未婚妻，妹妹和家人到反贪污局招魂，受到百般阻扰。过后又看到明福妹妹一路上从大厦到车上都喊着：“回家了，我们回家了！”我又再一次的以眼泪配晚饭！

过后陆续的新闻，大多数人（有良心的人）都向政府喊话，要成立皇家委员会，彻底调查此案件。一个即将要当新郎，爸爸的人，肯定不会自杀。失足嘛，大厦的窗口又好像没什么可能。那要不谋杀，又到底会是谁呢？

一开始反贪污局说他们一早释放了他，但为何电话还在反贪污官员手上？为什么闭路电视没看到他出来？为什么他一早释放又没回家，也没打电话报平安？

为什么这？为什么哪？太多太多的问号。。。

好啦！现在精明的首相回国啦。。 他有效率的成立皇家委员会，但委员会只可调查反贪污局的盘问手法，死因交由官职较低级的验尸庭负责。

我并不是瞧不起验尸庭的官职，只是质疑验尸庭会不会被背后的人操控，毕竟他们的权利有限。

我另一个担忧是万一调查结果出炉，政府会不会向外宣布?还是又是那一招：家丑不能外扬，随便带过就算。

我真的不敢想象如果真的有怎么一天！！！

前几天又有个高官说，明福未婚妻要求在报生纸孩子爸爸一栏写上明福名字，要先验孩子的DNA！！！这什么话吗！！！根本是在污辱明福和未婚妻。难道那高官的孩子也先验DNA后，才在孩子的报生纸写上他的名字？？！！说这话真不怕人TL！！！ （对不起，但真的忍不住！！）

总而言之，赵明福的死因一天不解密，大马子民永远会记得他如何死在反贪污局大厦外，大马的政治如何的黑暗！

我们牺牲了一个赵明福，但我们还有千千万万的为大马政治斗争的赵明福！

马来西亚子民们，让我们一同为赵明福致最崇高的敬意，并大声说出我们的诉求！

Stop Using Unprofessional Tactic in Event Line!

I am working in Event & Entertainment line, and as you know, all service line required good ethic & proper manner, and always give the most professional treatment to all your customers, suppliers, friends & your competitors.

You can pitch the same job with your competitors, but under fair condition given to all parties;
You can grab your competitor's customer, but without cheating and unprofessional ethic, as long as the client support you, accept you as their new service provider;
You can get competitor's rate/ proposal, but the other party have to agree/ aware you are doing this (I have some friends doing events also, so normally we will share our experience, market info, etc)

Get a new friend always better than get an enermy!!!

Yesterday, my colleague received a call from a guy called "Michael" from "Purname Burger Sdn Bhd".
Note: After check with Purname Burger Sdn Bhd, they don't have a staff called "Michael". And the manager is so angry about somebody using their company name to do such things, without thier acknowledge.

He ask for a proposal for Family Day, 600 Pax with 200 pax children, dated on 9th/ 16th August 2009, budget RM70, 000. He said this is the 1st time they organized, so ask my colleague to give him ALL details.

As normal procedure, we need to get company details. He gave us Purname Burger Sdn Bhd office address (he knows we won't go there and check) and his mobile phone.
When my colleague asked for office phone, he refused to give coz he said he will not always in office as he is a sales person running here & there.
Then my colleague asked for email address, he gave micheal_purnamaburger@yahoo.com
(is actually email not belongs to Purname Burger) and fax number 03-7880 *154.
This is where i know he is not genuine client, but someone from events company!!!
This fax number to me is quite familiar, as i worked there before!!

Therefore, i tot to give him a chance by calling him(Using my Mobile):
Me: Hello, may i speak to Michael, please.
Michael: Yes, speaking.
Me: Hi Michael, i am Micky Calling from Above Creative Events. Just now my colleague received your call, and saying that your company going to organize a family day?
Michael: Yes! (He sound so happy)
Me: May i double confirm with your company details again? Your company name is Purnama Burger Sdn Bhd?
Michael: Yes.
Me: What is your address?
Michael: errr...... you wait har, let me see my card. (Then he read the Purname Burger address, which i found it in website also)
Me: Ok.... then what is your office no?
Michael: err... my number is 03- 7785**** (Which i got it from website also)
Me: ok... may i know your fax number?
Michael: (He started feel unconfortable) I already give to him mar! (my colleague Jazz)
Me: To her. (somemore want to correct his grammar, ;p)
Michael: Oh ya, to her.
Me: so what is the number?
Michael: 03-7780 *154
Me: I tot this number is belongs to an event company called C********* Events??
Michael: (He panic) No!! is our number....
Me: Is your number??
Michael: May be i check and let you know. (He Hang up)

Few Minute later....
He called to my office (instead of my mobile).
Jazz: Good Afternoon, Above Creative Events!
Michael: Hello, C*********? (He acting call to other wrong event company although Jazz already greet when answering the phone, that C company is where he worked!)
Jazz: No. Is Above Creative.
Michael: Oh sorry har, I am Michael. u called me just now?
Jazz: No.
Michael: Someone called to my office "find" me.
(I asked Jazz transfer the line to me)

Me: Hello Michael!
Michael: Hi Micky izzit? (He explained immediately :p), i think just now i gave you the wrong fax, coz this is "very big" event, so i called to C********* Events (Where he worked), Jiggee events and creative event to get quote. May be i gave you one of the event company fax.
Me: Oh i see... (I know i am naughty but he padan muka, right? i still acting to trust him coz he still wanna continue the "story"), then what is your fax number? (Kakakakaka..... still want to ask him)
[you know what he answer??]
Michael: We currently dun have Fax number. (Just now gave me the number now said dun have &*%$$#%^($^&)
Me: Ok. Anything i will call you again. (I refuse talk to him anymore)

After that i called to Purname Burger to double check whether got this "Michael" or not. Coz i dun want myself to make such a big mistake also. Although i got 99% confidence he is not from Purname Burger.

Me: Hello, May i speak to Michael pls?
Ms Wong: Michael..... (She a bit shock) err.... who is this?
Me: I am Micky from Above Creative Events.
Ms. Wong: What is regarding?
Me: Is regarding your family day. I received a call from Michael, saying that your company going to organize a family day.(without give time for her to lie) May i know what is Michael's position in your company?
Ms Wong: err..... err.... he is not in. Can you call his Handphone? (I am confidence i am 100% right! I am sure she is Michael's fren, and she is front line to receive all calls in Purnama Office, that's why can help Michael to get quote from us)
Me: I would like to fax over a quotation, may i know what is your fax number?
Ms. Wong: Errr.... you fax to 03-7785 **** (This is Purname Burger fax which i found in website. Just now Michael said dun have fax %&%$#%$#&)
Me: Ok. Thanks!

Although i am confidence that Michael is not geniune, but being a service provider, i dun want to offend any customer, must well get some prove. Assisted by my colleague, i got Manager of Purname Burger name & contact.
I called to him to verify this "Michael", with unequivocal, he said: NO! we dun have Michael.

And of coz, he ask me what is happening. so i think as a "responsible citizen", i have my right to stop all these Unprofessional Tactic, by using other company name, address, fax to "Cheat" for a quotation/ proposal.
Today "Cheat" for a quotation/ proposal, who knows tomorrow they will use other ppl company/ personal name to "Cheat" for money or not??!!
*After that chit-chat with another event company boss, he also received a call from "Michael, Purnama Burger".

Events Management is a professional, please respect your professional, respect for others, and respect for YOURSELF.

Digi Ambassador Plan

My brother is currently working in Digi. And as a staff benefit, we entitle to sign-up for "Ambassador Plan".

I had try many times to sign-up for this plan, but due to some problem (server down, that counter dun offer this service, DIGI staff/ dealers dunno about this plan, etc). I was only able to sign-up this morning after dragging from 2 months ago.

This morning i was woke up early in the morning, went to SS2 Digi (Coz Metro Prima Digi server down for more than 2 weeks already) transfer my Maxis Line (Under Nick name) to Digi.
Digi found out that Nick still got some issue haven't settle in Celcome since 3 years ago. (Somebody rent his IC to create account)

We thought of to speed the process, may be we can transfer Maxis line from Nick to my name.
So we decided to TTDI Maxis.
Maxis staff told us we have to pay for RM100 (RM50 each line) for ownership transfer fee.
But it is pay for nothing, just for the TRANSFER only!
So we decided not to transfer.

After that we went Celcome to find out the problem and solve the problem on the spot.

And went back to DIGI again. Finally my Ambassador Plan registered succeefully!
BUT (a big BUT), still not activated, have to wait for 24 hours.... Hopefully it can be done, coz i really tired to run up & down to settle the phone line issues.

Why Malaysia dun have One-Stop solution for phone line registration?
Maxis, Celcome or Digi should have one...
If not U Mobile or XOX can do also, i am sure will support you.... :p

Curry Spareribs!

I was migraine the other day. So take a nap after viewing our new house at Jalan Ipoh on Sunday afternoon.

When i woke up, darling already cooked a bowl of my favourite Curry Spareribs for our dinner...

Although is his first time to cook this recipe, but it is really nice!
